Court to hear plea on July 10

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday fixed former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi’s plea against non-provision of facilities in jail.

LHC’s justice Amjad Rafiq would hear the plea, wherein Punjab caretaker government and others were made respondents, on July 10.

Elahi maintained that as a former CM, he was rightful to demand better class in jail, adding that it was a basic right to be provided with basic facilities. He requested the court to provide him facilities in jail and constitute an accountable commission for visit to the cell.
