Rain turns weather pleasant in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Heavy rain along with gusty winds in different parts of the provincial capital turned the weather pleasant on Monday.
The rain broke the spell of intense hot weather, bringing respite for the heat-stricken people of the provincial capital.The rain was reported in parts of the city including Gulberg, Defence, Mall Road and several other localities.The temperature in Lahore dropped significantly by 5 degrees centigrade after the rain.
The Meteorological Department said on Sunday that monsoon rains would begin across the country on July 3 and would continue till 8th.Humid winds from the Arabian Sea were entering the upper regions of the country, it said.
