ATC has sought reply from defence and prosecution

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Fashion designer Khadijah Shah has filed a plea seeking bail in the Gulberg plaza arson case.

Shah, who was arrested following the May 9 violence, has submitted the plea in an anti-terrorism court in Lahore. Her lawyer argued that his client was not involved in the Askari tower attack incident.

The ATC has sought arguments from both sides in the case and adjourned the hearing.

Earlier this week, Shah on Monday was sent to jail on judicial remand by the anti-terrorism court of Lahore.

Gulberg police station had registered a case in arson and vandalism on a plaza in Gulberg, Lahore. As against the claim of the prosecution, the suspects held that they were wrongly implicated in the case and that they may be released on bail.
