UAE ambassador meets PAF chief to discuss mutual interests, strengthen relations

ISLAMABAB (Dunya News) - In a diplomatic move aimed at enhancing bilateral ties, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mr Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, recently held a meeting with the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.

During the meeting, which took place in the office of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, the two dignitaries engaged in discussions regarding mutual interests and regional developments. The spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force revealed that Mr Al Zaabi expressed his vision to modernise the PAF.

On behalf of the PAF chief, various projects were proposed to acquire smart technologies from allied nations, expand infrastructure, and restructure operational and training sectors.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar highlighted the enduring religious, cultural, and historical relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, underscoring the strength of the bond between the two countries. He reaffirmed the commitment to further develop this existing relationship.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar emphasised Pakistan's appreciation for the robust diplomatic, economic, and defense relations it shares with the UAE, emphasising the importance of coordination in maintaining these ties.

The UAE Ambassador, Mr Al Zaabi, lauded the remarkable progress achieved by the Pakistan Air Force, particularly in the realm of self-reliance.

Mr Al Zaabi assured his commitment to promoting bilateral military relations at all levels, including mutual cooperation in training, emerging technologies, and the aviation industry. He expressed the desire to strengthen relations in various fields.

The meeting between the UAE ambassador and the PAF chief underscores the ongoing efforts of both nations to bolster their relationship and work together for the betterment of the region.
