PML-N, PPP to participate in PDM's protest outside SC
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Awami National Party (ANP) on Sunday announced its decision against participation in the Pakistan Democratic Movement's (PDM) sit-in outside the Supreme Court on Monday.
The announcement came from ANP spokesperson Samar Haroon Bilour, who stated that the ANP was not part of the PDM and that the PDM had not contacted them. Ms Bilour added that if the PDM contacts ANP, the party will decide after consultation.
The PDM's chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had earlier announced a peaceful protest and sit-in outside the Supreme Court on Monday. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) had already announced their participation in the protest outside the Supreme Court.
