One dead, several injured as car plunges into ravine

NEELUM VALLEY (Dunya News) – A car fell into the ravine area along Neelum river in Phullawai area on Sunday night. One man died and several were injured in the accident.
According to the details, there were 13 people on board in the vehicle, including 11 tourists, a driver, and a conductor. As per initial reports, three people were injured and one dead body was recovered, while the search for the others is ongoing.
According to Phullawai police , the affected tourists are from Lahore and belong to the same family. The condition of the two injured is said to be critical.
Rescue operations are underway by the Pakistani army, police, and local people, and there are concerns about further casualties. The operation was halted owing to difficulties in darkness.However, it will resume again once the day light clears the scene.
