Nomination for new PM deferred till decision by AJK SC on Tanveer’s plea
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Parliamentary Party of the PTI’s Azad Kashmir chapter has reposed its complete trust in leadership of Chairman Imran Khan.
A meeting of the leaders of the Parliamentary Party of the PTI’s Azad Kashmir chapter held here at Zaman Park late on Wednesday night with Imran Khan in chair.
During the meeting, legal matters pertaining to disqualification of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas came under discussion. The meeting also mulled over different names for the new prime minister. The meeting was attended by disqualified prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas and the new interim prime minister Khawaja Farooq and others.
The PTI Parliamentary Party of Azad Kashmir chapter, reposing its trust in Imran Khan’s leadership, gave him authority to nominate the new prime minister of Azad Kashmir.
The parliamentary party postponed the nomination of the new prime minister pending the decision of the appeal of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Azad Kashmir Supreme Court.
