ECP orders recounting in six UCs of Karachi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday ordered recounting of votes in six union councils of Karachi.
ECP announced the reserved verdict on Jamat-i-Islami’s (JI) plea and the recounting would be done in Mominabad UC-3 and Manghopir UC-12.
Apart from this, re-counting of votes would also take place in UC-1 of Gulshan area, UC-3, 7 and 8 of district East.
According to ECP, JI challenged the results of six union councils in the Election Commission.
