ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has said that the world has been expressing concern over the situation in Pakistan.
Fawad wrote on his twitter handle that “Zalmay Khalilzad, Senator Jacky Rosen, and Congressman Mike Levin and now the US State Department's report on human rights shows serious concern over arrests and torture in Pakistan.”

Fawad said former US representative Khalilzad, in his recent tweets expressed the “hope the Pakistani political leaders rise above destructive petty politics that undermine the national interest. If not, I hope the Supreme Court says no to being used in games that undermine the nation's interests. I am becoming increasingly concerned about Pakistan.”

Congressman Levin has recently expressed concern on political situation in Pakistan.
Fawad tweeted that “Pakistan is diplomatically isolated.
“Friendly countries like Saudi Arabia and Emirates have distanced themselves from Pakistan,” his tweet concluded.
Delaying polls ‘unconstitutional’
In another tweet, Fawad said that even a day’s delay in holding provincial elections would be unconstitutional.
He said that “I ask the government not to take any step in the session of the dummy parliament today, which will increase the political crisis in Pakistan so much that it cannot be handled.”

He termed the delay in provincial elections as unconstitutional and said that he rejects all efforts to put pressure on the Supreme Court. “Don’t run with wickets,” Fawad wrote.
