Pakistan

The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court will hear the case.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A larger bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear a petition against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan today (Thursday), seeking the disqualification of the PTI chief as a lawmaker for “concealing” the name his alleged daughter in his nomination papers.

The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq and comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani and Justice Arbab Muhammad will hear the case.

Petitioner Sajid Mahmood has filed a case seeking Khan's disqualification, contending that the former prime minister’s daughter Tyrian was residing in the UK, and that Khan made appropriate arrangements for Tyrian's guardianship but hid the information about her in his nomination papers and affidavit.
