LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on late Thursday night said that and the action to remove him from office has been initiated, Dunya News reported.
Reacting to the Baligh-ur-Rehman’s tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that the Punjab Governor s notification to de-notify the Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has no legal status.
He said that Pervaiz Elahi and the provincial cabinet will continue to perform their duties.
The PTI leader went on to say that a reference will be sent to the president against the Governor and the action to remove him from office has been initiated.

Fawad Chaudhry in another tweet said that if this principle is accepted that the Governor can send the Chief Minister home at his will, then the President can also send the Prime Minister home. He said that the attempt to revive Article 58(2)B will fail.
