PM Shehbaz condemns North Waziristan blast, vows to punish criminals
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday denounced the suicide blast in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, which claimed two lives including a solider.
The premier, in a statement, expressed grief over the martyrdom of a security personnel and a civilian in the incident. He also condoled with the bereaved families. Those carrying out suicide attacks on Muslims could not be Muslims, he said, adding that the terrorists were playing in the hands of enemies to destabilise Pakistan.
PM Shehbaz expressed his commitment to punish these criminals for claiming lives of Pakistanis. He said the people and security forces of Pakistan had given immense sacrifices for the elimination of terrorism. He paid tribute to the martyrs for laying down their lives for the country.
On Dec 14, a Pakistan army soldier and a civilian were martyred, while nine others suffered injuries after a suicide bomber blew himself up on Dattakhel Road in Miranshah.
