CM Elahi, Asad Qaiser discuss political situation in country

Economic and political situation of the country came under discussion during the meeting.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Former National Assembly speaker and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser on Wednesday called on Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and former federal minister Moonis Elahi, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, matters of mutual interest, economic and political situation of the country came under discussion during the meeting which was held at the CM Office.
Asad Qaiser appreciated the people-friendly measures of CM Pervaiz Elahi and said that the extension of Rescue 1122 to the tehsil level and the start of the motorcycle rescue service were exemplary achievements.
On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaizz Elahi reaffirmed his support for Pakistan Tahreek-i- Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and said those who tried to spread misunderstandings between his party and Mr Khan would fail.
The chief minister, along with his son Moonis Elahi met PTI leader Zartaj Gul. They discussed the political situation and development projects for Dera Ghazi Khan. CM Elahi assured Zartaj Gul of his support for Imran Khan and mentioned that their alliance “is robust than before”.
