Three students perish in Bahawalpur road mishap
Bahawalpur (Dunya News) – Three students, including a female, were killed after a "speeding" van hit a motorcycle in Yazman area of Bahawalpur on Thursday, police said.
Police said the cause of incident is still under investigation. Police identified the deceased as 15-year-old Laiba, Khadija and 14-year-old Illyas. The Punjab Chief Minister, Chauhdry Pervaiz Elahi took notice of the incident and sought report from the Bahawalpur regional police officer. He ordered to take strict action against the van driver.
Seven injured in auto rickshaws collision
Two auto rickshaw collided with each other in front of a private school in Okara, leaving five female students and two kids injured, witnesses and rescuers said.
The injured were rushed to the DHQ hospital by Rescue 1122 ambulances. The injured were later discharged after necessary treatment.
