One terrorist killed in gun battle with security forces in Mattani
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - One terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mattani area of Peshawar, military’s media wing said on Thursday.
According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in the general area Mattani, Peshawar. During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the army troops and terrorists. In the resultant exchange of fire, one terrorist got killed.
According to ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist. The killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens.
