World Teachers' Day being observed on Wednesday
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The World Teachers’ Day is being observed today (Wednesday) across the globe aimed at expressing gratitude for the contributions of teachers.
The theme for World Teachers’ Day 2022 is "The change of education begins with teachers".
The Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while saluting all the teachers with respect for their efforts and contributions in society, said that teachers rekindle our minds, and help us become a better person. My teachers have played a huge role in where I am today.
He said that, “Mentorship, friendship, endless support and kindness, these are the words I associate with teachers.”
Chief Minister Punjab further added that teachers are the benefactors of the nation and our pride. Today, we have to reiterate our commitment that honor and respect for the teacher will be ensured in every case.
