PM lauds Sialkot business community for financial support to Kumara's widow
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday has appreciated the Sialkot business community for transferring $ 100,000 to account of slain Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara’s widow.
The premier took to social-networking platform Twitter and expressed gratitude.
I want to appreciate the Sialkot business community for transferring $ 100,000 to account of Priyantha Kumara s widow & Rajco Industries for transferring monthly salary of $ 2000 to her account - which they will do for 10 yrs.

He further lauded Rajco Industries for transferring monthly salary of $ 2000 to account of Kumara’s widow- which they will do for 10 years.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry had announced $100,000 for the family of slain Sri Lanka national besides, financial assistance by the Rajco Industries, where Kumara served as manager.
Earlier, a mob in Sialkot tortured a Sri Lankan national to death and then burnt his body.
The incident occurred on Sialkot’s Wazirabad Road, where workers of private factories attacked the export manager of a factory and burnt his body over alleged blasphemy.
Police were sent to the area to bring the situation under control. Sialkot district police officer Umar Saeed Malik said the man was a Sri Lankan national.
