Another gas explosion in Karachi nullah reported
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Another gas blast was reported in a nullah in Karachi s Shershah area on Friday.
It is pertinent to mention here that on December 19, a terrible explosion took place at Shershah Paracha Chowk near the same location due to filling of gas in the drain, as a result of which 17 people were killed.
On the other hand, during the ongoing operation against encroachments in Shershah Paracha, a powerful explosion took place due to filling of gas in the drain near Bilal Hotel.
According to police, several shops were damaged due to the blast and rescue workers had been called in. The blast toppled a house wall and cracked the walls of some other houses.
Police said that no casualties were reported in the blast and orders were issued to remove encroachments from the drain.
