LAHORE (Dunya News) - The New Year celebrations kicked off across the country to welcome 2022 with special fireworks displays and lively celebrations as the clock ticked to midnight.
Bahria Town hosted the grandest New Year celebrations in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad with enchanting performances of international standard dancing fountains and music to set the tone of the night.
Thousands of people gathered at the Bahria Town Lahore to witness amazing display of fireworks at the replica of the Eiffel Tower to welcome the New Year and a new decade. The sky lit up with spectacular fireworks as the clock ticked to midnight.
In Karachi, thousands gathered at the Bahria Town’s Adventure Land Theme Park to welcome 2020 with huge celebrations. The families also witnessed epic fireworks, dancing fountain and enjoyed music concert at the Bahria Town Karachi.
Countless revelers switched into party mode at the Bahria Enclave Islamabad to enjoy dazzling firework display and music at the replica of the Statue of Liberty.
Large number of people thronged the New Metro City Sarai Alamgir to attend the New Year celebrations. They also enjoyed fireworks display and music concert to welcome 2020. The New Year celebrations were also held in Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan and other cities.
Hundreds of youngsters and families gathered on major arteries of the provincial metropolis to celebrate New Year’s night. The Mall, Allama Iqbal Road, Canal Road and Bahria Town roads were choked due to heavy influx of vehicles.
Youngsters ‘celebrated’ the occasion by removing silencers of their motorcycles, other people also played blaring music in their cars. City traffic police, Dolphin and PERU kept on patrolling the roads to maintain flow of traffic and law and order.
