ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has received 15 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to details, 15 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine funded by the ADB have been by Islamabad. The doses are meant to help Pakistan in its fight against the pandemic.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 2 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,293,715. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,909 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 301 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 13,064 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,662 in Sindh 5,922 in KP, 966 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.
