OIC Secretary General reaches Islamabad

OIC Secretary General will attend a meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on December 19.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha reached Islamabad on Thursday night to attend the session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, Dunya News reported.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib welcomed the OIC Secretary General at the airport. The OIC Secretary General will attend a meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on December 19.
Talking to the state media on his arrival at Islamabad International Airport, he said it is high time to think how Muslim countries can help their Afghan brethren in this critical time.
The Secretary General appreciated Pakistan s role in evacuation of foreigners from Afghanistan after the 15th August.
He expressed hope that Pakistan will continue its positive role of helping the people of Afghanistan.
