After so long, the nation has expressed satisfaction over the performance of government: Fawad
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Thursday has said the people of Pakistan have full confidence in Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan that he will not do anything for personal gain.
In a statement, the minister said that after so long, the nation has expressed satisfaction over the performance of government. Whether it is a transparency survey or any other it was proved that the current government does not have any corrupt elements, he added.
The minister said eighty-nine percent people support the government s measures against Covid-19, which is a great achievement for us.
Earlier, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain lashed out at Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Mualana Fazlur Rehman for giving call to hold [anti-inflation] march in Islamabad on the Pakistan Day.
“March 23 is the most important day for the people of Pakistan. The day is meant for uniting the nation, not to divide [them],” the minister said while talking to the media after the multi-party opposition alliance–PDM announced an anti-inflation march on the Pakistan Day.
Fawad believed that the PDM’s date and policy for the march was not final. Maulana had a track record of changing his policies in the past, he added.
