Torrential rain lashes parts of country
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Torrential rain on Friday has inundated low-lying areas in different parts of the country.
In Lahore, the rain has flooded streets and main roads, causing difficulties for the locals in traveling. Sheikhupura and Kasur also received downpour.

The rain has also tripped over 200 feeders in Lahore.
People in other parts of the country including Karachi and Peshawar also witnessed heavy rainfall.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PDM), rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, eastern Balochistan and Sindh.
Isolated heavy falls are also likely to occur during the period.
