Pakistan reports 3,902 coronavirus cases, 83 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 18,223,308 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 83 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,190,136. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 26,413 on Wednesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,902 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 12,118 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 7,030 in Sindh 5,155 in KP, 877 in Islamabad, 712 in Azad Kashmir, 342 in Balochistan, and 179 in GB.

Furthermore 440,164 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 406,960 in Punjab 165,980 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 101,550 in Islamabad, 32,942 in Azad Kashmir, 32,456 in Balochistan and 10,084 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 18,223,308 coronavirus tests and 60,537 in the last 24 hours. 1,071,976 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,389 patients are in critical condition.
