Avenfield reference: IHC to hear Maryam, Safdar appeals against sentence today
Maryam Nawaz will appear in the court along with her husband captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear the appeals of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz and her husband Capt (retd) Safdar against their conviction in the Avenfield reference today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
As per details, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz will appear in the court along with her husband retired captain Safdar.
A two-member bench of the Islamabad high court will hear appeals against the sentence in the Avenfield Apartment reference. The court had ordered Maryam Nawaz s lawyer Amjad Pervaiz to give arguments.
It is pertinent to mention that Advocate Amjad Pervaiz apologized from giving arguments in the previous six hearings for various reasons.
