NAB Chairman takes notice of accused's arrest from SC premises

Chairman NAB has sought report from Rawalpindi Bureau within 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Monday took notice of arrest of a suspect from premises of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

According to details, the Chairman has ordered action against those involved in the incident and sought a report from bureau’s Rawalpindi office within 24 hours.

Earlier, the Acting Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Umar Ata Bandial, took notice of the accused Saif-ur-Rehman arrest from the court premises by the anti-graft body asking the latter to explain its position as why it detained the accused and interfered in the court matter.
