Another doctor dies of coronavirus in Karachi

Dr Liaquat Ali, a retired chief dermatologist, was under treatment at a hospital in Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Coronavirus has claimed life of another doctor in Karachi on Sunday. Dr Liaquat Ali was hospitalised in Karachi a few days ago after he was tested positive for the disease.

Dr Liaqat Ali had retired from the post of chief dermatologist at the Institute of Skin Diseases Sindh.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 69 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,152,481. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 25,604 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,909 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
