Pakistan has so far conducted 17,585,023 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 120 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,148,572. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 25,535 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,191 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,759 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,803 in Sindh, 4,909 in KP, 861 in Islamabad, 693 in Azad Kashmir, 338 in Balochistan, and 172 in GB.

Furthermore 428,254 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 388,296 in Punjab, 160,088 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 98,339 in Islamabad, 32,111 in Balochistan, 31,649 in Azad Kashmir and 9,835 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 17,585,023 coronavirus tests and 61,306 in the last 24 hours. 1,029,930 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,596 patients are in critical condition.
