Pakistan has so far conducted 17,222,569 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 75 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,123,812. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 24,923 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,842 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,527 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,590 in Sindh, 4,772 in KP, 851 in Islamabad, 678 in Azad Kashmir, 335 in Balochistan, and 170 in GB.

Furthermore 419,810 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 379,574 in Punjab, 156,365 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 96,030 in Islamabad, 31,819 in Balochistan, 30,597 in Azad Kashmir and 9,617 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 17,222,569 coronavirus tests and 53,527 in the last 24 hours 1,009,555 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,301 patients are in critical condition.
