Pakistan has so far conducted 16,848,371 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 67 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,098,410. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 24,406 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,711 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,347 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,413 in Sindh, 4,654 in KP, 831 in Islamabad, 664 in Azad Kashmir, 334 in Balochistan, and 163 in GB.

Furthermore 410,766 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 371,605 in Punjab, 152,197 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 93,783 in Islamabad, 31,556 in Balochistan, 29,187 in Azad Kashmir and 9,316 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 16,848,371 coronavirus tests and 54,204 in the last 24 hours 986,795 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,792 patients are in critical condition.
