Punjab governor updates PM about restoration of Hindu temple in RYK
The prime minister congratulated PM Khan for PTI's triumph in Azad Kashmir elections
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar updated Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan about the ongoing work for the restoration of a Hindu temple in Bhong area of Rahim Yar Khan (RYK).
This was discussed during a meeting held betweet the prime minister and the Punjab governor in Lahore on Monday.
During the meeting, the Governor apprised the premier about the faith overseas Pakistanis have in government s policies.
Chaudhry Sarwar said Pakistani community living abroad takes keen interest in making investment in Pakistan and the overseas Pakistanis are expected to overwhelmingly participate in Overseas Convention to be held soon.
He also congratulated PM Imran Khan for PTI s triumph in Azad Kashmir elections; besides discussing overall situation in Punjab.
While commending Prime Minister for taking steps to safeguard minorities rights, the governor updated him about the ongoing work for the restoration of a Hindu temple in Bhong area of Rahim Yar Khan.
