410 martyred as Kashmiris mark two years of illegal act of Modi govt

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – Two years has been completed since India revoked the special status in Illegally Occupied jammu and Kashmir (IOJK) as the people of Kashmir observe Black Day today (Thursday) on the appeal of All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 15,000 Kashmiris have been arrested since August 5, 2019 while 410 people have been martyred.

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed and a march will be conducted towards the Lal Chowk in Srinagar to register protest against Narendra Modi government’s illegal actions of August 05, 2019.

Modi-led Modi regime in gross violation of the UN resolutions and international law revoked the special status of IIOJK and put the territory under military siege.

Call for the observance of the Black Day, shutdown and the march has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference as part of Ashra-e-Muzahamat, 10-Day Resistance calendar.

Adhering to the extremist ideology of the RSS on August 5, 2019, the Modi government repealed Articles 370 and 35A from the Indian Parliament, revoked the special status enjoyed by Occupied Kashmir and separated Ladakh from Kashmir and made it a Federally Administered Territory.

With this move, a plan was launched to change the proportion of the population in the occupied territories. An abominable plan was hatched to make Muslims a minority in Muslim-majority areas. Hindus from all over India were invited and given them to domicile in IIOJK and the land was allotted in very cheap rates.

India increased the number of troops from 800,000 to 900,000, turned the valley into a prison but the voice of Kashmiris could not be silenced, the brave Kashmiris were stunned.

Fears of Kashmiris on response to this illegal action of Indian, India increased the number of troops from 800,000 to 900,000. They turned the valley into a prison but the voice of Kashmiris could not be silenced, the brave Kashmiris were stunned.

The innocent unarmed protesters were pelted with pellet guns and bullets, as well as the sons of hundreds of mothers were martyred. The honeymoons of many women were dismembered, and the funerals of young brothers continued in front of sisters.

According to the Kashmir Media Service, in the last two years, the Indian Army arrested 15,000 Kashmiris, martyred 410 youths, tortured 59 Kashmiris to death in prisons, and injured more than 2,000 youths in protests and jails.

As many as 584 Kashmiris were fired upon with pellet guns out of which 26 persons lost their sight. More than 1000 houses were burnt down and honors of 115 women were tarnished. But the international community remained a silent spectator, no action was taken against India for human rights violations and no pressure was put on India to implement Security Council resolutions.
