'Govt threw diversions about N, S league to mislead public after elections'
Pakistan witnessed historic inflation in petrol prices today
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that the government threw diversions to mislead the public through N and S league after the elections of Sialkot and Azad and Jammu Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the PML-N leader said that a self-made story is being told to the people. “Their narrative has been failed even putting the opposition leaders behind the bars. ATM mafia has been engaged in looting for three years,” she added.
“Imran Khan says he gets up early in the morning and he goes for ‘jihad’ but you get up in the morning to send the people in trouble,” she said, adding that the narrative of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, their voters and workers is only ‘give to respect the vote’.
She also maintained that PML-N has only one aim to respect the constitution and law same like Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and their workers.
The PML-N spokesperson also stated that today if the people purchase house rations, then they have no money for paying houses rent. “If the people buy medicines, then they have no money for their children’s fee,” she said, asking that where the minister who increased the prices of medicines.
“Pakistan witnessed historic inflation in petrol prices today and two billion rupees is being taken out of the pockets of the people annually on the LNG deal.”
The PML-N leader said that the statistics bureau has issued a report on the hiking prices of the goods and, commenting on the report, the Finance Ministry said that the program with the IMF failed but the prices of goods had not been increased.
“Economy doesn’t get fixed through tweets, so it is streamlined when you take measures to bring down prices of essential commodities. You have made two million people unemployed. The statistics bureau also exposed the inflation.
She alleged that Khan made policies for his ATMs and mafias, as they help him buy votes in elections. “Now Azad Kashmir’s ATMs have also get relief today because it is a nature of Imran Khan to use ATMs money then forgets them,” she said.
