Aamir Liaquat lashes out at traffic police official in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain has shared a video on twitter of him lashing out at traffic police official in Karachi.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain said that he will not allow the police to mistreat citizens in his constituency. The officials were demanding money from the people, he alleged saying that police are robbing people on the name of lockdown.

He said that he has caught red handed many police officials during the day while taking money from people.

On the other hand, a statement issued by DIG Traffic said that there were three people in the car with Aamir Liaquat. DIG said that Aamir said to the head constable, "Do you know me" I am the MNA of this area, you people are harassing the citizens and taking money from them.

DIG Traffic said that the people along with Aamir Liaquat got angry and started punching on the trunk of a government vehicle.

They insulted the officials, made allegations and even threatened with dire consequences including loosing job, said DIG.
