Nasir Shah admits worsening law and order situation in Sindh

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Sindh Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has admitted about worsening law and order situation in the province.

In a statement, terming the law and order situation in Sindh as very bad, the minister said that the Sindh chief minister has taken notice of the situation, hoping that it will be improved soon.

He also appealed to Sindh Governor Imran Ismail for highlighting the problems of the province in front of the federation.

Speaking to the journalists at Sukkur Deputy Commissioner s Office, Nasir Hussain Shah has said that work on development projects is underway across Sindh and these projects will be completed as soon as possible. “The security situation in Sindh including Sukkur is not good but now the chief minister has taken notice to control it,” he added.

He also predicted registration of more FIRs against PTI’s leader Haleem Adil Sheikh, adding that further legal actions can be taken against him.

“Whenever Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan takes notice of anything, the things have ruined. Prime Minister Imran Khan should have to fulfill his promises to release funds instead of taking notice of the whole Sindh including Karachi.”

Nasir Shah said that the governor is the representative of the federation but Imran Ismail, despite being the representative of the federation, is not ready to talk about the issues of Sindh. “His statement regarding not to spend Rs85 billion by the government did not suit him,” he added.

The provincial minister further maintained that Imran Ismail should forward the problems of Sindh to the federation but he never did so.
