FC soldier martyred in landmine explosion in Hoshab

According ISPR, the explosion occurred when a water bowser hit a roadside landmine.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - A soldier of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan embraced martyrdom in a landmine explosion in Hoshab area of Balochistan on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the explosion occurred when a water bowser hit a roadside landmine planted terrorists as a result an FC soldier Kifayat Ullah embraced martyrdom.

The ISPR statement said that Sepoy Kifayat Ullah was a resident of Sibi. According to ISPR, a search operation has been launched in the area to arrest the terrorists.

Earlier on Friday, at least five personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) had embraced martyrdom as terrorists attacked patrolling party in Sibbi.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security personnel befittingly retaliated to the attack.

Search operation has been launched in the entire area to bar the escape of the terrorists from the site. The security officers told that investigation into the matter has also been started.

Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.

Security forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
