Pakistan signs deal for 13 million doses of Pfizer vaccine

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has signed an agreement for 13 million more doses of Pfizer vaccine. In early August, 12 million more doses of AstraZeneca vaccine will also be available.

According to sources, the first batch of vaccines under the deal will reach Pakistan by the end of July. In addition, 10 million doses of the Russian vaccine Sputnik-V will also reach Pakistan, of which the first consignment of 1 million doses will arrive in the first week of next month.

According to the Ministry of Health, Pakistan will also receive 12 million more doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine in early August.

On the other hand, according to Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan, 1.5 million doses of Chinese vaccine will reach Pakistan by Monday, while another millions of doses of Chinese vaccine will reach Pakistan by June 22 and 23.
