NAB to deal with looters in accordance with law: Javed Iqbal
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that he believes in eradication of all forms of corruption and will deal with the looters of billions of rupees of innocent Pakistanis in accordance with the law.
A statement issued by Chairman NAB said that five per cent of global GDP is lost to corruption every year, costing the world 2.6 trillion dollars a year.
He said that NAB would continue to give priority to the fight against corruption. We believe in ending all forms of corruption. However, Pakistan faces a challenge in the form of corruption.
He said that corruption is the root of all problems in Pakistan. The NAB looks at the case, not the face. The NAB does not belong to any individual or political party, it belongs to Pakistan.
