Int'l community should show unity to root out extremist trends against Muslims: Tahir Ashrafi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has called for coordinated efforts at international level to combat the threats of rising Islamophobia specifically in the west.
He was addressing the media along with Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Wendy Gilmour in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Condemning the incident, he said whole international community should show unity to root out extremist trends against Muslims.
Speaking on the occasion, Canada s High Commissioner to Pakistan said all forms of religious intolerance are unacceptable in our society and all such incidents are condemnable.
