Pakistan has so far conducted 13,619,766 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 53 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 935,013. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 21,376 on Tuesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,383 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,349 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,144 in Sindh, 4,164 in KP, 766 in Islamabad, 556 in Azad Kashmir, 290 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 342,805 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 324,535 in Sindh, 134,781 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 81,806 in Islamabad, 25,893 in Balochistan, 19,538 in Azad Kashmir and 5,655 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 13,619,766 coronavirus tests and 46,882 in the last 24 hours. 867,447 patients have recovered in the country whereas 3,196 patients are in critical condition.
