Govt not ready to accept negligence after eight accidents in three years, says Maryam

LAHORE (Dunya News)- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed regret over the train accident and said that even after eight major accidents in three years, the government is not ready to accept its criminal negligence and incompetence.

Maryam Nawaz in her statement on Twitter said how cruel and insensitive people are imposed on Pakistan.

All the people who lost their loved ones in these accidents, our prayers are with them, may Allah forgive them, she added.

It may be recalled that the number of passengers killed in the train accident near Daharki has risen to 43 while dozens have been injured.

Rescue operations are underway, Pakistan Army and Rangers are in the forefront in helping the people while Army helicopters are also involved in the rescue operation.
