Pakistan has so far conducted 13,221,581 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 43 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 921,053. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 20,779 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 2,117 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 9,999 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,020 in Sindh, 4,073 in KP, 760 in Islamabad, 543 in Azad Kashmir, 277 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 339,686 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 317,665 in Sindh, 132,549 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 81,195 in Islamabad, 25,148 in Balochistan, 19,232 in Azad Kashmir and 5,578 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 13,221,581 coronavirus tests and 52,223 in the last 24 hours. 841,241 patients have recovered in the country whereas 3,947 patients are in critical condition.
