Pakistan makes coronavirus tests mandatory for international travelers
All travelers who arrive in Pakistan will go through Rapid Antigen Testing at Airports.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - International travelers from any country who are coming to Pakistan are now required to carry their negative coronavirus test results conducted within 72 hours prior to commencement of travel.
According to notification issued by Civil Aviation Authority, travel from Category C countries is banned except for those given exemption by National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) NCOC exemption committee.
Category C countries include South Africa, Iran, Iraq, Bangladesh, India and several other countries of Europe, Africa and Latin America.
All travelers who arrive in Pakistan will go through Rapid Antigen Testing at Airports. Positive cases will quarantine for 10 days with TTQ of contacts and 2nd RT PCR test will be conducted on 8th day of quarantine period. In case of negative result, passenger will be allowed to proceed home.
