Pakistan has so far conducted 12,410,924 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 83 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 874,751. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 19,467 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,531 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 9,322 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,793 in Sindh, 3,743 in KP, 727 in Islamabad, 513 in Azad Kashmir, 262 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 324,589 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 297,078 in Sindh, 126,614 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 79,027 in Islamabad, 23,814 in Balochistan, 18,212 in Azad Kashmir and 5,417 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 12,410,924 coronavirus tests and 30,248 in the last 24 hours. 783,480 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,387 patients are in critical condition.
