Pakistan has reported 104 more deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan has reported 104 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 867,446. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 19,210 on Wednesday.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,869 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

322,117 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 294,251 in Sindh, 125,392 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 78,560 in Islamabad, 23,655 in Balochistan, 18,056 in Azad Kashmir and 5,407 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 12,310,875 coronavirus tests and 38,616 in the last 24 hours. 771,692 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,707 patients are in critical condition.

The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 7.42 percent.
