Pakistan reports 4,198 coronavirus cases, 108 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,056,986 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 108 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 845,833. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 18,537 on Thursday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,198 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 8,809 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,691 in Sindh, 3,497 in KP, 699 in Islamabad, 494 in Azad Kashmir, 240 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 312,522 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 288,680 in Sindh, 121,728 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 77,065 in Islamabad, 22,900 in Balochistan, 17,583 in Azad Kashmir and 5,355 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 12,056,986 coronavirus tests and 46,467 in the last 24 hours. 738,727 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,624 patients are in critical condition.
