Shaukat Tarin given authority to chair ECC meeting
Shaukat Tarin will chair meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet on Wednesday.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has been given the authority to chair the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, Shaukat Tarin will preside over the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet on Wednesday. The meeting will discuss a six-point agenda.
Sources said that payment of 40 percent dues to independent power producers (IPPs) is on the agenda of the meeting. The meeting will consider issuing subsidy on RLNG to export industry.
