RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has said that peace in Afghanistan means peace in Pakistan. Our goal is a peaceful, independent, democratic and stable Afghanistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said this while talking to Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Ali. The two leaders also discussed issues of mutual interest and the regional security situation.
Afghan Ambassador Najibullah Ali appreciated Pakistan s efforts for the Afghan peace process. The two brotherly countries also discussed enhancing cooperation in the fields of defense and security, as well as the Afghan peace process.
