No one can challenge writ of state: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday announced that government has decided to register a case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah on terrorism charges.

Talking to media persons, Fawad Chaudhry said that no one will be allowed to threaten government officers and the PML-N leader used language of extremists.

Talking about recent protests across the country, the minister said that government and security forces have managed to control the issue. Pakistan is not a weak state and no one can challenge its writ, he added.

Earlier, Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that intimidation of government officials by supporters of Maryam Nawaz is highly condemnable.

Firdous Ashiq Awan, in a tweet, said that goons of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should not be in any misunderstanding as government is standing firm in protection of its officers. Policy of threats and bulling by extremist elements is a stain on PML-N that can never be washed, she added.

The CM’s aide further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, all departments are working independently without any political interference.
