Classes for grades 9-12 to resume from April 19
Classes for grades 1 to 8 will remain suspended until April 28.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Inter-provincial meeting of ministers of education was held on Tuesday during which it was decided that classes for 9th to 12th grade across Pakistan will resume from April 19, Dunya News reported.
According to a notification issued after the meeting, classes of grade 1 to 8 will remain suspended until April 28 while exams of grades 1 to 4 and grades 6 and 7 will be held from June 1. However, the change in examinations dates is also possible.
The notification further stated that the annual exams of grade 5 and grade 8 will start from 18 May. Furthermore, the A and O level examinations go forward as planned.
It was also decided in the meeting that Transportation to all schools and colleges will also remain open with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
